the only thing you need to importantly look at is why you eat them like an asshole!
on a more "serious" note, what i was trying to get at is when we start listing off things we like we should look constructively at what it is that we like and why we like them. funny that you make a joke of that because some friends of yours might make the argument that you like pancakes because there is sugar in them and you're addicted--right?
i don't think that anyone would tell me the only reason i like pancakes is because i'm addicted to the sugar in them. i've had pancakes with alternative (healthy) sweeteners before, and liked them just as much, if not better. point is, some things are worth being challenged on, and some things just seem really petty. the majority of things you've been challenging people on, on this board lately have seemed to be kind of petty.
well, firstly i'd ask you to tell me what has been kind of petty that i've been challenging people on. not only that, but enough to call it a majority of the things?
secondly, saying that you are addicted to pancakes because of the sugar is more than half a joke. i was making light of the fact that people find something wrong with everything. also, when i had mentioned pancakes in my list, i didn't actually mean the taste of pancakes, i was moreso talking about it as an activity or whatever--the process of making food and why you would want to list that as something you like. it was just another thing to think about in my list. shit, i eat pancakes, too.
i think wondering why people do things and like things is beneficial, i also think it's beneficial to see why the people you surround yourself with do the things that they do as well. we all do it all the time--to say that we don't is denial to prove a point.
